Because we chose to keep it real, not artificial. DRISCO contains:

• Prebiotic fibre (4.5g) — which adds functional value

Both contribute a small number of calories. We could have made it "0 calorie" by stripping these out and using only artificial ingredients — but then it wouldn't deliver on taste or benefit.

So we kept it honest. Boojee Banta is 15.85 kcal a can. Gulabi Litchi is 17.6 kcal. Every calorie is traceable to a real ingredient.

Because we use real ingredients, not artificial shortcuts. The small amount of natural sugar comes from:

• Real fruit juices
• Functional ingredients like the fibre blend

We don't add any sugar. But when you use real inputs, a trace amount is naturally present — under 1g a can. That's not the thing to worry about.

Two, both plant-derived and both zero-calorie:

• Monk fruit — a natural sweetener from fruit. Zero sugar, zero calories, clean balanced sweetness.
• Stevia (INS 960) — from the stevia leaf. Adds sweetness without raising blood sugar or adding calories.

Every ingredient in both cans is plant-based — fruit juices, plant fibres, plant sweeteners, spices. Nothing animal-derived.

Prebiotic fibre helps:

Probiotics are live bacteria you add to your gut. Prebiotics are the fibre that feeds the good bacteria already living there.

DRISCO is prebiotic. We use chicory root fibre (rich in inulin), fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), and gum acacia — three fibres chosen because they're well studied, gentle on the stomach, and survive being canned. Live cultures don't hold up in a shelf-stable can; fibre does.

That's exactly what it's made for. Low calorie, no added sugar, functional benefit — it fits into your daily lifestyle, not just occasional consumption.

If you're new to a higher fibre intake, start with one can a day and let your gut adjust before you go further.

Most people are fine. If you're not used to prebiotic fibre, a few cans in quick succession can feel heavy — that's true of any fibre, salad included.

Two things work in your favour here: gum acacia is one of the gentler soluble fibres on the stomach, and both flavours carry digestive spices — cumin and black salt in Boojee Banta, saunf in Gulabi Litchi.
